Have you updated the drivers? ZSNES with HQ3X runs at perfect 60FPS on my desktop with lower specs (P4 2.53ghz, 512mb RAM, Intel 82845 graphics. Yours has the Intel 82852 graphics). Go to downloadfinder.intel.com and try those drivers if you haven't.

That was a nice surprise, I remember requesting that a year or two ago. Thanks :)

I got broadband about 3 months ago and have been using Ubuntu Linux ever since. I still dual-boot with Windows XP but I only use Windows for light gaming (starcraft, ZSNES, and VirtuaNES is about it). I am on a widescreen laptop and I can't play games on Linux because everything gets stretched in fu...

ZSNES Linux Crashes on exit [fixed]

After compiling ZSNES, it runs fine until I exit, then it crashes. I tried CVS, WIP 10-13, and WIP 08-22 and I get the same result with all of them (I deleted ~./zsnes before running each of them). I have to end ZSNES with kill -9. I am using Ubuntu 5.10, I didn't have this problem with 5.04. Could ...

storing zsnes cfg somewhere else (linux)

how can i configure ZSNES to use a specific directory to save its cfg/dat files instead of ~/.zsnes? i want to use ZSNES 1.42n as well as ZSNES CVS and 1.42n crashes if the cfg/dat files of a newer ZSNES are there. i woud like ZSNES CVS to store its cfg/dat file in ~/.zsnes and 1.42n to store its da...

Request: Sequential IPS Patching

I think it would be cool if ZSNES could apply multiple IPS patches at ROM startup instead of just one. I know you can do this manually using an IPS patching tool but I dont like permanently modifying a ROM image. Basically it would work like this: ZSNES gets filename of ROM to load ZSNES checks if s...

Maybe you could start including NSRT with official ZSNES releases? You could also include some "romfixer.bat" file that people could drag roms into to automatically fix them (since most people wouldnt know how to use the command line and the GUI is probably complicated for them too. or it ...
