question about filters
Are the filters 2xSAI, Super 2xSAI, and Super Eagle, based around the median filter? Also, who initially developed 2xSAI, Super 2xSAI, and Super Eagle?

Let's randomly speculate on how much processing power it would take to have Zsnes' AI translate and interpret the language and plot perfectly from and to any language, hack the game font flawlessly and make it look good, find and change any sprites with text on them and bugfix everything....at star...

Does the real SNES support Hi-Res Mode 7, or is it an emulation enhancement?

display problem in Crono Trigger
If you bring up the map in the world map of Crono Trigger, you'll notice the screen has mosaic effects when switching scenes.

FF6/3 world map problem
On the Final Fantasy 6/3 world map, the size of the airship sprite changes constantly as you walk. Is this normal? Also, do the screen effects before entering a battle look like what they're supposed to look like on a real SNES?

Re: Final Fantasy II - Non Cheeseball Edition Freezing
Not sure if this is the right place, but when you get to the cave of mist, and get the he spot where mist first starts talking to you (top right of the cave) zsnes quits. I've tried v1.42, 1.36, different ips patches, patching v1.0 and version 1.1 but nothing seems to fix it. I'm just wondering if i...

Is this a problem with ZSNES or Windows? Playing sound in other applications should not increase the CPU usage of the ZSNES process. I think it's a DirectSound problem in ZSNES. By the way, if you're using a sound card that doesn't support DirectSound, you won't even be able to play sounds in other...

graphical filters are not available when MMX is disabled
Why aren't the graphical filters (2XSAI, HQ2X, etc.) available when "MMX SUPPORT" is unchecked? By the way, why are the graphical filters also disabled when using the "HI-RES MODE 7"?

CPU usage problem with the Windows sound mapper
Leave ZSNES running in the background, then play an audio file using another application, the CPU usage of ZSNES will increase. The CPU usage of ZSNES goes back down when the sound mapper is not simultaneously used by another application.

CPU usage
Why does the newest version of ZSNES (1.42) use 100% CPU when in the menu and less CPU usage when you're in a game, (if you don't use VSYNC and other extra options)?
