Thank you zsnes
I made a video tribute which says thank you to everyone who works on emulators, especially zsnes.

I think I'll stay pessimistic about this kind of development. Snes emulation has been developing relitively slowly as it is... I have a feeling it would take another four years before we see any kind of decent result. If you've been over to the High-Res forum for the n64 plugin, you'd notice there a...

But zsnes runs the very 2dimentional SNES games. Creating packs to over-ride the graphics would be exactly the same as recreating the game to your own tastes. Hmm.. Let me think about the amount of work involved... All sprites redrawn and reanimated (something papermario does not do (It only swaps t...

Today is the first time something like this has happened to me... Except it wasn't with zsnes, and it was with xp home. My computer simply restarts whenever I enable advanced sound, using an onboard chip (within a certain game (which, I should say, it can handle..)). Maybe it has something to do wit...

The emulator relies on plugins for all the rendering... So, since this feature is exclusive to the Rice plugin, I can only assume that its optimised for the task... Hardware and texture memory would be responsible for most of the slowdowns, I would imagine. I, personaly haven't experienced slowdowns...

Bringing up the GUI's menu with escape and then returning to the game refreshes the whole screen, including the border area, for me. Same here. Ditto. No joy here... :? . Though I discovered that triple buffering is the guilty suspect. If I dont use triple buffering, the borders are fine. Its just ...

This is where it becomes a pest. After I return to the game or load a new rom, the screen does clear, its just those areas that are not refreshed (the very top and bottom of the screen) remain funky. They are outside of the GUI also, so I cannot mouse over the area. The only way I can continue undis...

My video card driver has been updated many times since I started using zsnes and it didn't seem to change anything. I'm pretty sure that its not a video card issue, as the screen doesn't remain currupt (unless its the video cards job to refresh the screen, in which case, my mistake... -_-). Im surpr...

Funky colours..
Now this is a problem I've had since using zsnes (about a year). Whenever I add or remove triple buffering or minimize then maximise the screen, while using any filter besides interpolation, the screen display appears corrupt. This I realise, is because zsnes fails to do a full screen refresh, and i...

I hope I don't step on anybodies toes answering this, but I feel its simple enough. To restore to the default settings, just delete the config file. Zsnes will automatically generate a new one. Thinking about it now though, I have also experienced dead and course sound, but only since I started usin...

I feel that there are still some sound issues with the new release... Have'n played around with a few settings, rear speakers have given up working. The best thing to do is to just wait for a new official release and then see if things become clearer. Also.. does anybody else get a crash when they d...

You know.. I dont think that it does send it to the devidual channels. I have tried the surround sound option (with star ocean,ToF of course..), though it would seem that it only widens the stereo arc. Or (now im only sumising..), it could be attempting to create a stereo 3d environment by varing th...
