Re: Running ZSNES On Android
Use this old reg file (http://www.s9x-w32.de/dl/testbuilds/remove_s9x_icons_in_explorer.zip) that removes the file associations since they were working on removing the "feature" and this reg file was necessary since they didn't automate SNES9x to do it instead. A brief googling about the f...

Ever since Windows 10 showed up, I think my computer developed a drinking problem. Every time I leave it alone, it crashes while parking the processor cores.

Re: Odd controller issue with both of my computers.
Microsoft changed the analog triggers to use Z and RZ instead of sharing just Z. Unfortunately, each trigger is mapped for the entire axis so the trigger at rest will be at full negative axis. You will need to somehow press both triggers to be at center and then select each key. I folded two sticky ...

Maybe have a disclaimer popup that goes away when you type "SA-1 IS BROKEN AND I WILL NOT ASK TO FIX IT BECAUSE IT IS FIXED IN ZSNES 2.0" in the 1.53 release? ... that's never gonna work because it's probably going to get repacked with TEH LEGIT l33t warez RAWMz preconfigured with xboxcont...

Re: can't get zsnes to "see" other ROMS in ROMS folder
Don't use Program Files for stand-alone programs, since Vista, Windows will virtualize the directory to make it function in a multi-user environment where "Users" can't normally write to the folder. You will have to move it to a folder that won't be virtualized by Windows (like a C:\Games ...

https://paulschou.com/tools/xlate/ was the link, and personally for me, that wasn't hate. Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Are you interested in any kind of enhancements to mode 7 like high-res mode we had in ZSNES 1.0. We could probably also do some kind of HQ4X filtering on the mode 7 data to give it a bit more definition. Another possibility is completely having it hardware accelerated in 3d to draw it and shaders c...

Honestly, I have never watched the video was until I looked it up, I only knew of it from the channel owner's mention of it being the most popular video on his channel because of title alone.

So this thread is just like a child (ZSNES Fans) asking, sometimes whining, their mother (ZSNES Developers) who knits for a hobby but works a regular job (ZSNES Developers' Daily Lives) when is their super cool sweater (ZSNES) ready because it's their favorite color (nostalgia) and the mother just t...

YO DAWG I hurd u liek emulation SO we put yo emulator inside yo're emulator ...... ... dat shit don work righ man. You would have better luck with a virtualized DOS PC than using an emulator to power another emulator. Not speaking from experience, but from awareness of how some emulation functions o...

Re: So Apparently solar Roads might be a thing
There is one key flaw, the lack of direct toaster support. I'm talking about having toasted bagels whenever I want right on the road. Especially on those stop-go traffic days when you're dying to make it to the office kitchen to try out the new poppy seed bagels that the grocery store finally got in...

Re: Rock N' Roll Racing "lite" free by Blizzard powered by Z
One thing about the ROCK.BIN, it appears to not contain the music. It explains why the only track of music constantly loops over everything when using the executable. Still I think the essence of the game is still there, driving around in extreme vehicles and blowing them up, all commentated with a ...

Rock N' Roll Racing "lite" free by Blizzard powered by ZSNES
Found here: http://battle.net/account/management/download/ On the bottom of the page, and it's bundled with an executable (custom build of ZSNES I'm guessing), ZSNES 1.51 source, documentation and a ROCK.BIN that runs in ZSNES (and other emulators potentially). Unfortunately, it appears to be a stri...

truth unknown, what and where is a Direct wrapper. I use the load button and my browser is Google. The ZSNES is in the download file. Thank you very much for all your help It would be a DirectDraw wrapper, basically it wraps the computer calls to DirectDraw (which ZSNES uses to draw graphics on the...

Re: help
The minimize trick is a quick work around, not really a good permanent solution. Either try using a DirectDraw wrapper for ZSNES or try using another emulator that uses Direct3D or OpenGL like SNES9x for better performance. As for the Cheats being lost, are you using the Load button or have checked ...

Re: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, DirectDraw, ZSNES and You
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? Oh wait, Mystic Quest hasn't been re-released and I guess IV (II for the US SNES cart) is the 3D version (then again Rosa and Rydia can weigh in how positive could be). So I guess it's not all of them exactly. Not to mention the redone graphics of V and VI (III for the US SNES c...
