However, there are many clear differences between spiller and mog123 (I'll let you search for the corresponding threads), which will likely cause differences in how we'll react to their questions. Who's spiller? Who's the better one in the comparison, cause I actually don't know what's this whole a...

Writing up your own emulator?

Let's say I want to make a 6502 cpu core, so I have to make different variables for an accumulator, registers X, Y, flag status etc. and I come down wit...

And looking at a chip pinout for a couple minutes totally makes you an expert. ¬_¬ I didn't say anything like that, sorry if you got that impression. Ok, I see now that I had it all wrong - I was talking about the APU as a whole (ram, dsp, scp700), that's a detachable part in old rev SNES units, li...

I've got a simple question: Does it communicate with the cpu, or just gets music data from it, decryps it and send the sound wave to audio out?
From my observation on the pinout, it's the latter.

Tech question.
Some emulators I tried with FF6 have one problem, they can't display the backgrounds in FF6 battles - so what is responsible for displaying/loading the backgrounds? Here's a screen of what it looks like: It looks almost the same on every early stage snes emu:

SFC: Super Turbo File
Hi,
I recently bought myself a RPG tsukuru 2, but sadly without the Super Turbo File cart. Has anybody got some scans on them or technical information? I would be very grateful.
Hope to get some replies.
