OK, I spent some time yesterday trying to tweak ZSNES on this machine. First I have made a compact bootable DOS disk. No EMM386. The Fastvid patch was applied (anybody remembers this?) to enable PCI bus features, which are unfortunately turned off on all PPro chipsets. This solves the huge bottlenec...

As far as I know, they're pretty much rewriting the ZSNES core and doing a code audit to get rid of all the trash that's been piling up over the last several years.
