Why was appending implemented like this?
Maybe I'm a bit late to the party here, but I've just been trying out the ZSNES 'append' functionality for movies. I've finally figured out that ZSNES creates a directory and puts a couple of files in that directory for you to be able to append to the movie. However, if you delete that dir, or only ...

Weird problem with movies in ZSNES
I have several movies that I recorded quite some time ago - I think I might have done it in a DOS version of ZSNES. Anyway, up until version 1.50, they worked fine. When I play them, 1.50 says 'old move replaying' and it plays it. However, in 1.51, it's stopped working. When I try and play it, it sa...

Bah. For all those people in this thread insisting that the bottom 'garbage' line is a good thing because it's what the original SNES did; hardly. It's very annoying and sticks out a mile in certain cases, especially if you're in fullscreen with a black border. If perfect emulation were so important...

I just finally figured out wtf you guys where talking about. Wtf resolution are you runing your screen in. LIke 800x600? Because theres no way you'd even hardly notice at anything above 1280x960. Which i'm sure most people are running by now. And at 1600x1200 I defanitly dont notice it. 640x480, ac...

Garbage pixel line at bottom of screen
So, in ZSNES v1.51, there's a garbage pixel line rendered at the bottom of the screen. I read about on this forum a bit, and apparently that's intentional; it's the behaviour of the original SNES. OK, but that behaviour's retarded and looks like a bug in the SNES itself. Can we please have an option...

Hmm, so there is. Well, it locks up the same in 1.51 too. NSRT info for US version (I have both that and the European version): NSRT v3.3 - Nach's SNES ROM Tools ---------------------Internal ROM Info---------------------- File: Zoop (U) [!].smc Name: ZOOP Company: Viacom New Media Header: FIG Bank:...

Zoop locks up
Weird problem that seems to happen both with ZSNES 1.42 and 1.50. When you get 5 of the purple 'spring things', they start bouncing in the bottom left corner, and every block on the screen is meant to get removed. ZSNES locks up whilst this is happening, I know not why. Here's a screenshot of where ...

ZSNES 1.50 graphics regression?
Hi, I just noticed there seems to be a weird regression with ZSNES 1.50. In Final Fantasy V, the opening credits are supposed to appear beneath the transparent Final Fantasy V logo, with the hero running on a chocobo being displayed behind it. In 1.42, this happens fine, but with 1.50 the logo just ...

Addendum: Given that ZSNES's interpolation option isn't checked in the exact multiple output modes like 768x672 DR WIN, I'm guessing it's not ZSNES that is interpolating, but DirectDraw. Disable DirectDraw acceleration and ZSNES doesn't run on my system (just get a black window). Can't an option be ...

Resolution questions
A question about ZSNES's resolution scaling... I personally dislike video interpolation, and would rather have a faithful reproduction of the SNES' video output when playing. The only 3 video modes I have found that do not blur things (interpolate) are 256x224 R WIN, 512x448 DR WIN, and 640x480 DR F...
