Thanks for the tips guys. I did what you guys suggested, and then re-installed all the new drivers for my video card, sound card, and processor. I'm not sure what it was that did it or if it was a combination, but ZSNES is working flawlessly now and I'm the happiest person alive

I just thought I'd post a similar experience. I am also seeing extreme slowdown in all games whenever there are more than a few sprites on screen. This does not happen with any other SNES emulator that I have tried.
