Cheers mudlord
krom, found some more issues with your code using glIntercept. I will post some patched code ASAP. IIRC, ATI cards need vertex shaders, as well as fragment shaders, for some retarded reason. As such, I will be posting some code that should add vertex shader support, too. Sorry for the late reply mu...

Well done
Hi byuu,
Well done in ironing out that mecarobot bug, I am really impressed with the new wip of bsnes, it is definitely releasable in my view
Cheers to the rest of the community especially neviksti, for helping make bsnes even better.

Linux Shaders
Heya byuu, Just an update to my above post. I upgraded ubuntu to 8.04 and tried running my bsnes opengl 2.0 driver with visual effects set to normal and extra, and it did not work, It just showed me a white screen! I have to set my visual effects to none in ubuntu by going to the: System/Preferences...

opengl 2.0 glx driver probs
Ah, that is a real shame, I have tested on a gforce 6800 in ubuntu 7 linux/windows xp, and an 8800 in windows xp... oh well back to the drawing board!Yes, I couldn't get any of them working on Linux (well, I noticed slight color shifts on some, but the actual pixels were always the same)

Mute & other stuff
The main thing I was wanting to avoid was having both a mute and volume slider. If one were to set the volume to zero, mute and later unmute, it'd be kind of annoying that there was no sound. I am totally with you on this, hence me going for poll option C , because it keeps the mute functionality, ...

mini poll
In answer to the poll I would like C to be implemented, because it would be great to have a volume slider, and I think that this option would clutter up bsnes the least. I have no intention of adding things such as cubic filters and higher sampling rates. I am not one for filters, but I would love t...

Thanks!
Cheers byuu! Luckily my nick is only 4 chars long! =DHah, I suppose. I haven't touched those credits in roughly two years. You'll obviously have to wait for the next release, but yeah that won't be a problem. Just don't want the list to get too long. Need to keep that window tiny

A Few Ideas
Hey byuu, Sorry about not being about recently... I love the improvements/simplification of the UI, I have some ideas that might make bsnes more intuitive: Could you implement drag and drop snes files in linux and windows? e.g any compatible snes rom file could be dragged over the bsnes window and w...

Even more surprising, it's about ~2% faster than before. Even though it's technically even more complex now with three writes instead of two. Makes no sense at all, but I won't complain. Getting 122fps now on Zelda 3 load screen. I just compiled the new wip and I am getting 2 fps speed increase + t...
