the above person asked me to explain what i did, so i did.
i was just happy the EMU actually recognized my gamepad because it was acting up and wouldnt... so i was frustrated.
giving help to those who are clueless isnt a fucking crime.
so i installed my gamepad.. went to input in zsnes, clicked Set All, and pressed the appropriate buttons on my controller when it prompted me for which is left right etc... so they could be recognized. i thought it was going to be harder than it was, but it wasnt! im so happy now!
trying to play chrono trigger.. and after multiple attempts at trying to get a L and R button to work I plug in my Recoil gamepad and install it on this machine but zsnes wont let me use it in the Input screen. helpppp?
tried numpad keys, still didnt work, so i left them set as 7 and 9 as L and R quit out of zsnes/chrono trigger and im about to go back in and see if that made a difference
Temporarily assign the same key to both the L and R buttons. This question is covered by the FAQ, which you should have received with the emulator. in Chrono Trigger, I'm trying to press L and R with A (x on keyboard) and the keys D C dont work for L and R.. I've tried EVERYTHING!!!! im going nuts cause i cant get past this point in the game!
