Yes, all copy protections these days work the same way: wrapping all code in a envelope and decrypting it in real time, like a virus.

Re: Can't believe this hasn't been implemented yet.
And how would you do that?
Emulate cart interfaces like how C64 emulators do it, by emulating the actual I/O interfaces?
All SNES emus just read the ROM as a array, no delays involved.

Updated to support XP, uploaded to proper section of site, requires valid keys or some kind of crack (duh) to work.

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
Anyone know of any shaders that distort/warp the screen so that you can play all games in " touch fuzzy, get dizzy " mode? With the advent of direct3d shaders in videogames, trippy effects are an absolute must! Ive seen a curved screen shader on youtube I wrote a shader that did just that...

Re: Windows 7 versions...
More than once, that unneeded accuracy has been needed for my usage, so I gravitate towards the most accurate emulator that I can actually run. So subcycle accuracy is warranted, and needed? Even if it only benefits 1 title, with a massive performance loss? And even if cycle accuracy is enough for ...

There would be false positives regardless. Adding extra layers of DRM will only exacerbate the problemRashidi wrote:yeah, obfuscation+packing would only attract unwanted 'false positive' from most anti-whatever out there.

mudpack is a EXE only Win32 PE packer. Unlike UPX, it has fully modular compression/decompression modules via plugins.
It is not intended to be DRM, so it makes things super easy to depack.
