I'd like to try ui.asm to get my n00bish feet wet, if it hasn't been taken yet. I've ported a few functions successfully just to make sure I could, so I have just one question for the time being: would you like the functions to do exactly what they would in assembly, or would you like them to follow...

You're missing Nach's version of NASM that has the gnuwin32 format. Get it -- and a working makefile -- out of the archive http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~millerd/misc/zsnes140-mingw.zip You'll want the makefile in zsnes/src/makefile.mingw and nasm out of mingw/bin Or just use http://nsrt.edgeemu.com/nasmw.z...

Searched for MacOS.

No, you didn't search.

You're not being brave, you're being lazy, and you're not even doing it on the right board. Do some research before knowingly and unapologetically breaking the rules, please.

Nach, I forgot to ask. Where are you getting these gnuwin32 nasm builds? The best I can do is to grab the Cygwin package?

Done! And I updated the archive, just in case. Right now I'm taking a crack at the -O0 problem, though with my track record I don't think I'll be getting far. :(

May I ask for a short FAQ on how to compile zsnes using mingw? What tools are needed exept mingw itself? Coz with last changes zsnes doesn't compile neither with mingw nor with MSVC6. :( Fairly trivial now that 1.40 is out. Just in case anybody wants to do it now, and can't get it to work for some ...
