Dmog, you aren't funny. I think this kind of filter is retarded, but whatever, I'm not stoping anybody from using it. What I am stopping you from doing is continuing to be a moron. yeah. these filters are crap. lets add random noise in a vain attempt at simulating the image displayed on a inferior ...

just one thing
Yeah, nice, But now try the same using my aforementioned “multiple” blend mode. http://img41.exs.cx/img41/2360/mario-multiple.jpg http://www.gaijingear.com/mario-rgb.jpg Notice that ‘my’ Mario’s facial hair and the black contour lines don’t have those green dots, and I also don’t get the slight loss...

I feel much better now!
I'm all for this effect. If you could just use MAME's D3D filter pattern that would be better. That’s my filter of choice in MAME 32. It would be nice if they added it to ZSNES. Make that 97% :D Thank you very much! Fantastic! http://www.emutalk.net/images/smilies/cheers.gif I like the first filter...

Now THAT'S What I'm Talking About!
Excellent, ma man! Thank you so very much for your support on this. Now, if I could just get the same from the other 98% of people, who are currently opposed to this idea, I’d be all set!

the low-resolution GUI is prohibitive. Phew! Now that someone had the guts to say it first, I can honestly say that I don't like the GUI either; at all. There; I said it  It would be nice if it could be changed into a normal OS interface, but this might be a matter of principal and tradition,...

YES
Edit: Not only do I love how cleanly it's executed, but the idea very much too! :D Browsing for ROMs is especially inconvenient with ZSNES I take my words back. It's not inconvenient at all. I made that statement without proper research. So yeah... it would be only fare if you threw things at me. (M...

Great! I'm glad you like it! My main goal was for the majority of users to enjoy the icon. All of us like it! It sure looks awesome! Can you tell us what you used to make it. Oh, and have you ever tried rendering icons in 3D Studio MAX in *PNG and converting them to icons? That's how all the Window...

If you can come up with the code to make this filter work, then I imagine it wouldn't be a problem putting it in the emulator. Other than that only about 5 people would actually use it. :p I don't think it would represent any big challenges to knowledgeable programmers, and people who developed ZSN...

Agreed
Yes, you are right. I'm trying to think of an algorithm that would allow such tweaks.pumpkinhead wrote:Personally, I like the RGB filter, but I think it might garner more respect if it could be toned down... Kind of like how you have varying degrees of scanlines (25%, 50%, FULL) in ZSNES.

Retardet?
Quit changing the subject, KingKirby; you tell me whether it's on the house, or not? :D Seriously, though, which one looks “retarded”, both? Oh, and guys… don't you think I might be aware of the availability of the horizontal scanline option? Take your wildest guesses. :? Alright, let’s forget the b...

Dirty?
What about this filter do you people like? To me, that filter 'dirties' the screen and I don't like it. I don't like scan lines either though. None of those filters that darkens and 'dirties' the screen like that. Well, obviously replacing redundant pixels with black ones has a significant impact o...

That New Windows XP Icon For ZSNES Is Sleak!
This new version of ZSNES that I downloaded today has a fantastic anti-aliased Windows XP icon. People don’t normally pay attention to those kinds of small things, but I found it almost as important as a feature addition. Whoever designed that icon, nice job!

Not a Good Idea, Ha?
Well, I use Gary Henderson’s emulator a lot too, but unfortunately, because my video card doesn’t support Open GL, I never got to play with that filter, so I have no idea what it looks like. "If I were you, which I'm not, I'd do absolutely nothing with this information and go get drunk. Godspee...

Call It Anything You Want
What is this rendering thingy called? Well, I came up with those as I way messing around with SNES screenshots in Photoimpact (image editing program), so I don’t know if those have names. Some MAME emulators implement a filter that looks similar to the picture in the middle (it’s called RGB effects...

Implementation of Even More Render Methods (I Mean Filters)
Ever hungry creatures, humans always want more; take me for example. Though this fantastic emulator supports numerous nice render methods, it still misses image filters of my favorite style. I know that developers have more important things to do, so when they get those out of the way, I’d like them...
