uh.. you are mentioning NES flash cards, because...? Because it is the first NES flash cart, and it has a design similar to that of the SuperCard, which was also mentioned in this thread. Also, the SuperCard, Tototek SNES flash cart, and the NES Power Pak are all flash carts for Nintendo game syste...

The NES Power Pak is a compact flash card to NES adapter! It is like the original compact flash based SuperCard, but instead of being for the GBA, it is for the NES. You can easily store every NES game on one compact flash card. Since the NES Power Pak is being designed and developed by a single guy...

I tried adding kode54's event handler code to DirectSound, and it caused a decent speed hit and crackling on my sound card. If I recall the discussion, most people had reported even more problems with that change, and we decided not to go with it in the end. I can always add that back if people thi...

My system uses a built in SigmaTel High Definition Audio device, and it is using the latest drivers. I'm not an audio buff, but that sounds like a generic built in chipset. I am using the lowest audio latency setting in Nestopia, with no problems. Also, why would the audio get full of static only wh...

Regarding the CPU(s), my version of the M1710 has a Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2GHz. Considering that no other application has manifested this issue and because of the symptoms described in my previous post, I am leaning towards this being either a bug in bsnes or in my laptop's audio drivers. I'll see if t...

Yes it is capable of running at a solid 60 fps. I found a way to recreate the problem. When I load a game for the very first time, there is no static and the audio sounds good. However, after I switch bsnes into fullscreen mode, the audio stutters during the switch. Once the switch to fullscreen is ...

BSNES audio static
I am using bsnes v0.018 on my XPS M1710, and the audio has lots of static in it. Is this due to an audio buffer underrun? How do I get rid of the static?

North American SNES Serial Numbers
I am interested in the different revisions of the North American SNES. Supposedly there 3 versions of the original sized SNES, as well as a version of the mini SNES. What range of serial numbers do these versions have?

In 100 years, people will look back on such sites with kindness because who will give a damn about copyrights then? They will care if certain games were lost forever because of copyrights. Bzzt. Wrong. There will always be the chance that Nintendo or whoever made the game can re-release it on a new...

Ok, I censored it. I thought it was ok, as long as I didn't link the site. Can such sites not even be mentioned by name? In 100 years, people will look back on such sites with kindness because who will give a damn about copyrights then? They will care if certain games were lost forever because of co...

I'm working on a feature to allow NSRT to merge ROMs, not sure if it'll be ready for the next release or not. Once that's done, I probably would make ZSNES support multiple files in a zip/JMA. My host switched servers, so my site currently has some technical difficulties. Merged-sets in NSRT and em...

NSRT Merge Support?
Does NSRT support automatic similarity merging as seen in GoodMerge? I am trying to convince !!!CENSORED!!! to switch to NSRT, but they seem to like 7z compressed GoodMerge sets because they are so small. However, NSRT has JMA support which is better than 7z and NSRT is just simply better for SNES R...

As long as replies are on-topic with regards to the thread, then who cares when the thread was started? Why have two threads on exactly the same topic just because the first thread was started a long time ago? It keeps the message board more organized to treat threads like folders for organizing top...

Re: RetroPad/SuperRetroPad, etc.
If you're not an engineer, I recommend these people. http://www.sealiecomputing.com/retrozone/superretropad.html You can buy controller's people have already converted to HID USB. No driver if you're using Windows or Linux. I have the RetroPad (NES) and SuperRetroPad (SNES). They work great. I have...

Is the EPIA 5000 going to be fast enough to emulate the SNES at a decent framerate, without a high frame skip? I own an EPIA 5000, used it as a desktop for a while and now use it in my 24 hour a day file server. They are great little boards, but they are not very good performers, especially with reg...
