Savestates and ZSNES 1.42

Hello again. My problem for now is that I can't use my savestates used in the old WIP (10/24) of ZSNES with 1.42; when I'm playing with zipped ROMs, ZSNES doesn't read them, although the file (*.zst) is still present in the same folder as the ROM. However, savestates of non-Zipped Roms work fine... ...

Problem with zipped ROMs in ZSNES 1.41

Hello.
I'm having a problem with the new release of ZSNES (ZSNES 1.41). The problem is that when I select zipped ROMs from the browser, ZSNES immediately exits. I tried deleting both config files, but the problem still persists.
Thanks.

Yup, figured out just as much after seeing this on my Tetris & Dr. Mario ROM.:

But it was set on NONE, then I figured out that I had an extra controller config for a third player, so I removed Player 3. Thanks a lot for the replies

How about the Kirby ROM? It's a good ROM, but had a similar message. I remember yet another ROM doing this in the WIP, can't remember it, though, have to check again. I'll have my Japanese teacher translate the messages.

Anyway, here's a sequence from Super Bombliss (J).--startup to error message. http://www.geocities.com/rarubis/0001.JPG http://www.geocities.com/rarubis/0002.JPG http://www.geocities.com/rarubis/0000.JPG And the ROM info: Fi...

Anti-Piracy ROMs?

Good day again. It's 3am in the morning here, but I would wish to know if this was already reported in: In the newer WIP, I had ROMs that just displayed a strange screen (on start-up) that seems to be related to an anti-piracy measure, or something. Super Bombliss (J) was the latest one to do this t...

Alright, deinterleaved my ROM (can anyone tell me what's the difference between interlewved and non-interleaved ROMs?) .. I was testing a few state saves, and the flickering was still there.. It wasn't just on Yoshi, but it was on anything resembling the color pink (blocks, yoshi, baddies, etc)! Hop...

Weird Yoshi's Island Stuff

Uh, just wanted to report this, when playing Yoshi's Island (and some other games, I can't remember), Yoshi's head seems to "flicker" and pop out of place. The weird thing is that it seems to be pretty random, happening at random times/places. Also, when taking screenshots (I've taken a lo...

@grinvader: Yeah, it was pretty much like the first pic you showed. If I use my friend's Radeon, will the blurring in DirectDraw games (I also get that in Visualboy Advance) be gone? Or is there a driver setting that I need to tweak? Also, I checked the HQ3X checkbox (what exactly does that do) in v...

Oh, alright. thanks. I think it's a DirectDraw problem. Anyway, there's another problem that I have-- when using "Windows-friendly" (ya know, 640x480,800x600,etc) resolutions, everything isn't as sharp as using other resolutions (512x448, 768x672). Does anyone know why?

Thanks.

Clock Tower + Tales of Phantasia Graphical Bugs.

I have problems running these two games, using 10/24/04WIP and on an AthlonXP 1050 Thunderbird, nVidia TNT2 Video card, on Windows XP. First, on Clock Tower. I had no problems running it (or both of them, for that matter) on previous versions of ZSNES, but on the new build, the background color chan...
