Serious Issues with my controller

I got a Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB (it´s wireless)
i run mostly zsnes 1.36

up until a few months ago it worked, then all of the sudden it stopped working. It would hang when i tried to configure input or it would only register up. Please help
This is what i have tried:
-Reinstalled zsnes
-Reinstalled Drivers
-Tried 1.42
-That set keys bogus

I am thankful for answers, note that its not the controllers fault as it worked fine before.

If there is a throttle, center it carefully.

no throttle its a pad

Does it work with other programs, or is it just ZSNES?
What version of DirectX are you using?

It works with Kawaks,lots of mame based emus, nebula, snes9x and all my games i have for pc.
I am using direct x 9.0
