Custom savepath + rompath not working correctly (latest WIP)
My SNES folder on my drive is a huge mess, like 100 ROMs, and 100 .zst and .srm files to go with them. I opened up the ZSNES config file and went to the bottom and entered a custom save path so (I assume this is what it's for) that all my save files can be in their own folder. I entered the path D:\GAMES\GAME FILES\SNES\SAVES, then I load ZSNES and look in the paths window, and the field for saves is blank. I tried this with the ROM path and it's the same. I tried another path that has no spaces in it and it still doesn't work.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Currently the save path window in zsnes isn't being used, it's probably just a placeholder for now. But don't worry, when you specify a save folder in the config file, it'll still work.

Extremely far from the truth. Everything there works except the saves box and the BS-X box.Noxious Ninja wrote:Yeah, the paths window doesn't work, in any capacity.

What version? Um... Recent WIP versions? CVS code?
BIOS/Base add on support has been available for half a year, SPC7110 pack since early summer, and snapshot and SPC saving longer than all of them put together.

You click in a box then you start typing, difficult?Noxious Ninja wrote:Arr... when I bring up the paths window, all I get is blasted blank text boxes. Clicking in said text boxes does absolutely nothing.

Will be tricky. I'll have a look some time later this week and seen what I can do.Noxious Ninja wrote:Wow, how unintuitive. There should REALLY, REALLY be a cursor in the active text box.Nach wrote:You click in a box then you start typing, difficult?

Question: does 'rom.zip' in a box mean rom.zip is located in the exe's directory ? Or in the ROM directory ?

Relative paths for the BIOS/Base carts I believe goto the ROM directory.

Got a blinking _ in. And let me tell you it was not easy. Was ripping my hair out for over an hour.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
Please tell me that now that this is touched up a bit more, more of you will use SPC Paths, Snapshot Paths, BIOS/Base paths and some SPC7110 graphic pack paths.
