Whatever happened to Grandtheftendo?

Anyone remember that one. This guy was making a clone of Grand Theft Auto 3 for the NES (obviously as a rom, and more like their 2d overhead games prior). He wrote his own toolsets and a compiler for the nes, and used it to create the game. Last I checked a few years ago his site claimed he was getting close.

Now it seems everything has disappeared from the net.

Everything appears to have shown around may of last year was last anyone heard.

Never heard of this before, but it reminded me of the Final Fantasy X remake for the NES.

he pry couldn't afford to keep the domain name or web service. you know how poor programmers are...
