I just wanted to say thanks to the rest of the doc team for the excellent and needed job they're doing. I'm very pleased with the professionalism shown.
It's also very nice how hard you guys worked on unifying. I'm glad now that any reader can also appreciate port differences in ZSNES by reading the docs, so if they ever try another port, they don't get surprised by differences and know they can still turn to their existing copy of the docs.
Thanks

Your welcome. I do it because I enjoy it.
Everybody really seemed to put in a lot of work right before/after the 1.50 release. I guess we're all excited that we actually have a new official release
My long-term goal is to get the docs pretty much content-complete, making incremental changes as necessary. Once they're content-complete, I can go back to mainly just twiddling with HTML and CSS, which is what I really love.

Well keep up the good work, and make sure to put it on your resume.
Also try to keep things up to date, we hope to have a 1.51 soon.

If docs were to keep up with the development.. that would be amazing (well, nothing is perfect after all). I do echo Nach's sentiment though. I do hope 1.51 would be smoother than 1.50 (well, we won't have the massive changelog anyways). There is still more docs tweaking to be done anyways.

What exactly do you mean by that? They keep up with development relatively well, in my opinion. The only way for the docs to always be in sync with ZSNES is for you devs to add stuff as soon as you add it to ZSNES. That sometimes happens, which is great. When it doesn't though, you have to communicate it to us, then we have to find time to put it in. And for concpets we don't completely understand, it sometimes hard. I'm not blaming anyone or anything, this is just reality.Deathlike2 wrote:If docs were to keep up with the development.. that would be amazing (well, nothing is perfect after all).

I'm just saying as a crazy idealist. Don't worry about it.Jipcy wrote:What exactly do you mean by that? They keep up with development relatively well, in my opinion.
