I need some help

I've read and done everything, I forwarded my ports, turned off all firewalls, everything. So has my friend.

We can connect to each other, the chat box starts up, but when he loads a rom the screen locks up.

Any help?

EDIT: We use 1.36 btw

EDIT 2: We both have the exact same copy of the rom.

Are either of you able to play the game alone?

Does it pass or fail the checksum?

I can play it alone fine

EDIT: Right when he loads the rom, the screen goes black and the emulator locks up

So it locks up when he tries to load it on his PC without netplay? It looks like this is just a general problem with his PC or ROM, not a netplay problem. Post the NSRT info for his copy of the ROM and his PC specs.

We tried zbattle and just straight Internet>Enter IP

Neither worked.

AMD Dual Core Turion 2.2 Ghz, 2 gigs of RAM, 120 gig hard drive, 512 mb ATI Radeon x1600

You never answered my question. Yes or no. Can he play the game on his computer without trying to netplay?

And are those his specs or your's?
