Hi all - check out this bit of work:
http://fuvoo.com/FuvooPermaLink.aspx?PostID=660
Here's what it basically boils down to:
intitle:"index.of" (filetype|filetype|filetype) filename.here -html -htm -php -asp -cf -jsp
This does some cool stuff - for example I can do
intitle:"index.of" (mp3|mp4|wma) mahna.mahna -html -htm -php -asp -cf -jsp
This searches for Apache directory listings that contain audio files. The . in place of the spaces in the filename tell google that anything can be in there (eg. mahna mahna or mahna-mahna or mahna_mahna etc etc)
The really cool thing you can do with this is take the resulting google search page, bookmark it, change the filename in the URL to %s, add a keyword, and then you can just type in "music mahna.mahna" in your title bar, and it will run that complete search. Very cool stuff, I think.
The most interesting bit of all of this, is that the first yields Cake covering Mahna Mahna...
