Star Ocean-Till the end of time PS2----Barr Caves

Post by Necrorage »

I in inside the barr caves and i have allready opened the first door to that dragon shrine fingy. But i simply dont know how the damn flute works. Ive tried to discover a pattern, based on the time i press the circle button or the frequency i push it, for each melody but most of the time it doesnt work and some random melody plays.
Can someone please help me? It´s getting preety annoying trying to discover how that thing works for the game to continue

Usually GameFAQs helps.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

I just dont like using faqs because most of the times i read too much of them and then they spoil too much stuff. I forgot to point that out D:

Continue along the path until you reach some stairs with a Dragon Relief. Now you have to play the flute and here is the breakdown of it:

Happy Song = Press the button lightly and shortly
Playful Song = Press the button lightly and hold it in
Sad Song = Press the button hard and shortly
Angry Song = Press the button hard and hold it in

You can tell what song you need to play by examining the relief. Now when you're ready play the Happy song to gain access to the ruins.

Keep in mind that the PS2 has pressure sensitive buttons.
