It's a fan-made game and it doesn't seem to have any connections to Fusion. I can't wait to try this out.

I don't like the way it looks, to be honest. Sprites ripped from another game with a few added effects... feels like something out of Mugen or RPG maker. Or worse... a flash game *shudder*.

Well, looks badass to me. The extra work being put into the fluidity of the character and the quality of the rearranged music show me this should be way bigger (size and otherwise) than a simple flash game.

I'm keeping an eye on this one. People have seen the other fan game, right?

I wonder.... since it's a ground-up remake, do you think they'll be more freeform like 1 and 3 were, or linear like the original Metroid 2 was?

Some things are looking nice, the pushing anim in particular, but all rotation animations look cheap and flashy (eh, not in the traditional sense) to me for some reason.

Awesome if you're a Newgrounds regular maybe.

Zing.

We already do have shitty block puzzles in Metroid. You can thank Fusion for that, and Zero for continuing it.

The butt looks wrong. I know from having seen many Samus before.

Err... I thought it was anything but a RoS remake ? Isn't it precised in the title ?

Hmm... elaborate please ? Like, a couple examples of such in MF/M0M ?

So... Samus is going to SR-388, right? To kill metroids? And several classic Metroid 2 villains? In Metroid 2-style terrain? And it's NOT a Metroid 2 remake?

We apparently have different definitions of remake.
I don't doubt that it diverges wildly from the original GameBoy version, but remake doesn't mean "graphically enhanced port."

Pretty much every optional missile/bomb/energy tank in the game?

It's not the same kind of shitty block puzzle, but it's still shitty block puzzles.

Seems like they have morph ball elevated to where you can morph on ceilings. Unless it's turned upside down, which seems pretty cool.

Super Metroid just required you to find it, not to figure out which bizarre sequence of super jumps would get you there.
