Very strange IE issues
Okay, I don't why or how this happened, but we have 2 PCs sharing comcast cable internet (i don't care what anyone says; I'd rather have this than dialup). Anyways, people on one PC can access www.comcast.net for email perfectly fine. However, when I try to access it on the other PC (when both are being used simultaneously), the page refuses to load as seen in this screenshot:
Not sure if it'll be up and running tomorrow, but if not, I'll just screw that website and use hotmail! What's going on!?[/i]

Yeah, but I click on "network solutions" it leads me to a completely different website. Heck, maybe I'll switch IPs. Their email service has had nothing but issues.
Edit 11:38PM - okay, that makes perfect sense; the bloody website's working...man..talk about unreliability.

If you have better suggestions for Internet (i.e. 8 mbps/$49.99 and that's availible in my area), I'd like to hear it. I'd try MStar, but that's in the same city, but not "in my area" according to a customer service rep I talked to. Which I think pretty gay, but whatever. Any other suggestions...??Franky wrote:Why do you bother with comcast anyway?

Screw them. "Oh waah waah waah! I can't use BTs on comcast!!" Well, go commit seppuku for all I care. I mean, what could possibly piss them off to the point of hacking the central server(s)? Well, they'll probably get caught sooner or later; they'll have a joyous time in prison.

They didn't hack Comcast's central servers.neo_bahamut1985 wrote:Screw them. "Oh waah waah waah! I can't use BTs on comcast!!" Well, go commit seppuku for all I care. They hacked their domain registrar account and set it so the Comcast.com URL wasn't pointed TO the central servers.
Hacked in this case PROBABLY means "guessed the password"
