Best Gamepad for multiple emulators!!
I use the saitek P880 for running zsnes, project 64, kega fusion, mame, fce ultra, visualboyadvance, and also my computer games! I've had it for a while and I dunno if it's still available but there are two other gamepads that are almost identical to it, which are the saitek P990(which includes 4 shoulder triggers instead of the 2 that the 880 has) and the P2600 Rumble Pad, which is the P990 with the Rumble feature! They are anywhere from $20 to $30. You can check them out on http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/gamepads.htm

Same here: Dualshock2 + adapter, perfect if you don't have big hands.odditude wrote:dualshock/dualshock2 with appropriate adapter.
I used to have Thrustmaster Firestorm gamepads, but the D-Pad tends to die after a few thousand shoryukens.

Maybe the newer models are more resistant, I haven't tried.

DS1 pads are a little harsh. I remember having blisters after a session of SFA shortly after launch.Gil_Hamilton wrote:Dualsucks... well, suck.
Especially the DualShock 1. ATROCIOUS d-pad. It eats thumbs.
The DS2 at least has a less resistant d-pad.
I've never had an issue with the DS2/DS3 pad, though.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

I find the Dualsuck design as a whole to be entirely too small, with poorly-angled grips.odditude wrote:DS1 pads are a little harsh. I remember having blisters after a session of SFA shortly after launch.Gil_Hamilton wrote:Dualsucks... well, suck.

I'm annoyed that the prototype PS3 controllers didn't come out. Stupid fanboys threw a giant hissyfit because Sony tried to improve something, so they threw up the exact same thing, just with "no" wires.

What, the boomerang? That thing didn't look comfortable at all...Gil_Hamilton wrote:I find the Dualsuck design as a whole to be entirely too small, with poorly-angled grips.

It looked a lot more comfortable than the existing design.DancemasterGlenn wrote:What, the boomerang? That thing didn't look comfortable at all...Gil_Hamilton wrote:I find the Dualsuck design as a whole to be entirely too small, with poorly-angled grips.

Somewhat Gamecube, really.
