the actual program isn't available yet, but wani-something-oko is the programmer.

you need a custom IOS which he has already made available, the homebrew channel, and the ISO's will have be run through some other program before burning.

BUT, a working wii loader without a mod chip. best news since the dreamcast.

That's pretty sweet; I figured someone would do something like that sooner or later....first a way to play DVDs, emulators and now Wii .iso images. You'd think that doing that would screw up the firmware, but apparently not. How they hacked the Wii I'll never know.

Buffer overruns are easy attacks, and Nintendo's made a poor show of fixing them.

Uh, yeah. They have for a while. A software only way of playing Wii images is new, though.
