Both voted for telecom wiretapping immunity; both voted for the $600bn Wall Street bailout; both believe in using military force without UN approval; both support separate-but-equal status for same sex couples; and both support the "PATRIOT" act.

I don't believe either will really do that much good.

Unfortunately, it's a lesser of two evils situation. The two party system sucks, sure -- I'd vote for Ralph Nader, but we see how well that worked out in 2000 (especially in Florida.)

That said, I voted for Obama. I tend to agree with his policies a hell of a lot more than with 2008 McCain's. 2000 McCain was a decent man, but after this election ...

Primarily though, I just wanted to counter Nightwolve's vote ;)
