I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do this or if anyone could point me in the right direction of how to do it.
I have a ZSNES emulator running on a machine under my TV, and have a laptop sitting next to me here. The controllers are wireless, and there is no keyboard/mouse attached to the machine.
When I turn the machine on, ZSNES automatically loads, and I can begin playing, but in order to change the game, I have to SSH in and kill the process and start another from the command line.
What I would like to do is have a perl script or something on an apache/lighttpd server running on that machine so I can click a link and the game will change. I think I understand how I need to do it, but ZSNES gets to the "File loaded successfully!" and then quits. If I run it as a normal user from the shell, it works fine. I was hoping ZSNES supported something like dcop but it doesn't look like it does.
If anyone has any ideas, I am definitely open to them. Thanks for your time.

You should probably use a frontend to achieve something like that.
