FFIII problem

Post by mdb »

Hey all,

I've been playing FFIII and wanted to ask if anyone had input about a problem I'm having. (Unfortunately, I can't include the ROM information because the NSRT site looks like it's down.) Sometimes when I walk, a horizontal line (maybe a few pixels high) appears on the screen, I think sometimes in different locations (though always in the upper half of the screen). The line fits in roughly with the rest of the screen, but it's "off" enough that it bothers me. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

Enable Vsync and Triplebuffering in the video settings. that'll fix the line up.

It sounds more like a timing issue than a vsync issue.

It doesn't help that a ZSNES version isn't mentioned here... try using a different version and see if you're not experiencing it.

Its a Vsync issue that also occurs on Snes9x, VBA, Jnes, Nestopia, etc. It usually occurs every second frame. when you move vertically up or down, but never horizontally.
