I do Let's Play videos, currently SNES games, using ZSNES 1.51. However, there is a problem I have encountered before, and is now starting to become a hinderence.
ZSNES's recording system basically memorizes my button presses and replays them in order while dumping the video into a hard format that can be watched. The problem comes in that sometimes the button presses are skipped or not counted, which in turn makes the entire video go to waste. I've had Megaman X miss a jump and spend an entire 10 minutes walking into a wall because of it. And more recently, it is showing problems with Clock Tower: When I get the Ceremony Key from the child's bedroom, the French Doll attacks. However, the Doll seems to never do in the dumping what it did while I was playing and recording, and Jennifer ends up dying during the dump process. Very annoying, and I can't continue without getting that Key, so please tell me of a way to fix it.

You can't fix it. It is a issue with the current core in that it has some randomness which makes it hard to play back what happened if something like the enemy behavior changed somewhere etc.
