Doesn't sound dumb to me. You're getting a full CPU core to play with, maybe even two.

actually no too bad an idea. have a little tv and a wireless pointing device, just controlling your sound system. would be great for running a temporary http, but instead of powering up my entire pc I'm just gonna use the wii. low power embedded devices rule!
