CO2 is green.
Ok was at work tonight when this came on the tv. I call bullshit.
I would think this a joke, but I'm not quite that sure.

It is my belief that ice ages and warm ages are due to the plants.
Until now every warm age (high CO2%, much warmer temperatures than today - which is why I also don't give a rat's ass about pro-Gores' bitching) plants overran everything and covered so much they pretty much drained the CO2 to jack.
Resulting in ice ages and plant death.
Rince, repeat.
Now if you look at the current point, we're in an intermediate step (not cold, not warm), we artificially boosted the CO2 released into the atmosphere, and we also removed a couple fuckload of greenery to make some room for our stuff.
Not critical by any margin.
At least, not critical to the planet - I could care less about stupid people building their homes next to RAGING OCEANS or VOLCANOES or right above a fucking CRUST RIFT.
Let darwin sort them out.

Might be fixable with a greasemonkey script or something like that? I've heard (<- no personal experience) that they are quite powerful.Killa B wrote:Yeah, I actually used that very feature to select the dark theme. Ha, well, I brought up the PETM because it is a very good example of what happens when there is an extreme increase in greenhouse gasses.
And lol @ mkendora. I can't believe he is still bitter. Maybe it has to do with the fact that byuu achieved what he complained was never going to happen?

If we take the consequences into account (i.e. a burnt corpse neither drives a vehicle, nor eats anything, nor burns other things) it balances out to extremely green.creaothceann wrote:That wouldn't be very green.
