ZSNES and No-Intro?

Post by Epoch »

Hello there I've been wondering how ZSNES could deal with no-intro collections being unable as far as I know to run zipped roms. Am I missing an option or something? Cause as you can imagine having to unzip your roms rules out the option being up-to-date with no-intro dat files and updating with Clrmamepro. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

There's probably frontends you can use.

Zsnes can run zipped roms. It cannot run 7zipped roms. Please don't confuse archive formats.

I just figured he referred to how it can't select a specific ROM to load in some big multi-ROM zip file. There are frontends that can do this though.

^ Both of you correct. I actually reconsider now whether I should keep using goodmerged sets or not. Because while it saves you space it makes the whole updating process a pain. In any case I had used Quickplay in the past and I got nothing but good things to say, I might get back into it.
