Simple question about EDITING cheats
Is there a way to edit cheats? That is other than turning them off, deleting, or inserting another cheat with a different value at the same address?

Re: Simple question about EDITING cheats
Can you mention at least one useful edit to an existing code that doesn't fall in any of these ?

Re: Simple question about EDITING cheats
I imagine he wants to edit the value of the cheat without entering a new cheat in, and probably having to delete the old one, which I've ran in to and wanted in the past when tweaking things or experimenting with various values.
I'm pretty sure this isn't possible without the multistep process of creating the new cheat and deleting the old one, but it'd be nice to hear if it is.

Maybe these people were born without that part of their brain that lets you try different things to see if they work better. --Retsupurae

You should read his post, since there's a way to do it (and he's aware of it).paulguy wrote:I'm pretty sure this isn't possible without the multistep process of creating the new cheat and deleting the old one, but it'd be nice to hear if it is.
Just select a line, enter the new value alone (in hex), and enter. Doesn't change the stored 'PV' either.
