I'm experiencing a couple of bugs with Yoshi's Island. They only occur when New GFX Engine is ON. The bugs do not occur with New GFX Engine OFF.
One is that when certain offset per tile effects are being used (big up and down moving platforms, Yoshi dizzy (stoned) after touching a Fuzzy) flickering occurs at the boundaries of the offsets during movement.
The other is that some backgrounds show up above a window effect.
I am currently using the US 1.1 version of Yoshi's Island, verified by GoodSNES, under the latest WIP of ZSNES.

Yup, it's been reported multiple times. If you look in the bug topic you'll find screenshots and savestates for the platform bug (same thing as the "moving ground" bug in Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy).
