I've heard of a better one, it basically streams video from the PC to the SNES and sends SNES controller feedback the other way. We can make any SNES game we ever dreamed of, now!

the funny thing is, it only uses the titan for the hardware audio mixing - and if you cut the CIC pin in your SNES, the audio bounces like an NES that's failing the authenticity check.

Or, as what would likely happen, they would just refuse to use the newest version of zsnes.

ZSNES would leave that as an option, defaulted to correct behaviour. For all these timing-locks, there is no sensible speed loss from adding that switch.
Same with all the incorrect sound hacks.
