Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
Is there a way to loop commands with the Key Combination editor? I'd like to have the "A" button pressed + released every 5 minutes for x number of times.

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
If you need the button pressed down for 5 minutes then released, 5 minutes is 300 seconds. Use the delays.
Binding a key combo to a pad lets you auto-repeat the combo when the corresponding button is kept depressed.

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
My bad. More accurately.
Press A + Release
Wait 5 minutes
Press A + Release
Wait 5 minutes
etc, etc.
I'll revisit the Key Combination Editor .. Perhaps I was just to hasty with it?
[edit] Perhaps I have an older version of the ZSNES (v1.51 Jan. 24 2007). The largest option for delay in seconds is 5. The version I have, I cannot manually type into the text box that contains the Key Combination to set the delay to 300 seconds [/edit]
I've tried using VBScript to SendKeys to the emu, that didn't work.
I've tried using On-Screen Keyboard + AutoClicker, that didn't work.
Are there any "hooks" that the WMI or an API can latch on to so I can send key commands to the application?

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
still, use the delays. press, release, delay 300s. hold the button down and you should be golden.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.
Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
I attempted what I thought was the equivalent of your statement and placed a weight on the keyboard "y" .. no luck. Screenshot of my Key Comb Editor screen:

It's all good .. I'll just manually monitor the screen for a few minutes every day for a while until I've completed my goal (Irony is .. It'd just be easier to find the infinite money code for the game .. but, that feels like cheating .. even though, technically, I'm doing the same thing .. Yeah, I know .. I'm not right in the head)
Anyways, thanks for trying .. On a side note ..... Really appreciate this emulator and all the great memories and games it lets me access.

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
it autorepeats if bound to a gamepad button.

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
I'm sorry, I don't understand your explanation as I'm unsure of what you mean by "gamepad button". If "gamepad button" refers to some additional hardware (such as a USB SNES controller), then I don't have one. If you mean, I need to change the mapping of the Combo Key from "y" to "Numpad 3", then I'll give that a shot.
I only have a keyboard + mouse. My keyboard is mapped as follows:
s - up
z - left
x - down
c - right
Numpad 3 - A
Numpad 2 - B
Numpad 6 - X
Numpad 5 - Y
Numpad 1 - L
Numpad 4 - R
Numpad . - Select
Numpad Enter - Start
Again .. thanks for the feedback and patience

Re: Key Combination Editor - Loop commands?
This is a (cheap) gamepad:

With a keyboard, there is no auto-repeat. You press the key, it triggers the combo once. You have to release the key then press it again for repeats.
Btw, your key combo will press and release A the next frame, wait 2 frames and 190 seconds, press and release A the next frame, then wait 2 more frames.
The frame steps aren't very useful.
Anyway, I didn't remember the step amount limitations. No way to have 5 minutes delays right now, sorry.

Good deal .. yeah, I was reading up on the Config_Input and realized what you meant .. thought I'd come here and share my new found knowledge, only to see you beat me to it
Thanks man. Mayhaps I can figure out a way to perform a obj.SendKey command to the emulator .. That or just break down and find the cheat code for infinite money .... heh heh :p
