I am running linux and i got the latest version of SDL and ZSNES...and i also have the latest kernel, and for soem odd reason...some of the soudn channels 'don't know hwich exactly' are VERY high pitched...and soem are VERY fast as well, i don't know if this is a linux bug or a zsnes bug...but any help would be appreciated...
Also, as a request...is it possiable to get resolution 512x448 in full screen mode>...right now..it seems to be windowed only..and for soem reason..if i play any other mode..the frame rate drops dramaticly

Shot in the dark, but get the latest alsa-lib and alsa-oss packages. Another thing to try is to compile alsa-drivers yourself instead of relying on the ALSA modules in the kernel - there are some extra drivers not in the kernel itself it seems, and there might be a better driver for your card.
You can also try mucking around with your mixer settings or setting different sample rates. lowpass filters, etc. in ZSNES
