I am using a parallel interface based on Directpad schematics to be able to use my Dualshock 2 controller, with vibration and everything. It works wonderfully on my windows emulators, games and also with Dos emus which support it on real DOS mode *cough* Meka, Mame, Raine, etc. *cough*. Thing is, I can use it on the windows port of Zsnes, but at a cost of emulation performance. I am using a lowly AMD-k6 2 computer, and Zsnes DOS version on real DOS mode beats the windows version anytime by a long shot.
I`ve been hoping to be able to use my controller on the DOS port for the longest of times and play my games fullspeed as its meant to be. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Zsnes rules!!!

If someone wants to submit a patch, I'll throw it in.
While we could find another GPL emulator and steal their code and try to integrate it, I don't think we should be putting any specific effort like that into the DOS port.
