Troubles Starting(Yes, I've read the readme and faq!)

Ok, Every time I try to load the zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) emulator, I get a black window that just sits there, I do realize that in the faq, it stated that you need to update your graphics driver and your direct x to the latest version. I have done the following and it has done nothing. Anybody able to help me?

I'm running on 360 mb of ram and a 900 mhz processer, My video card is very old, so I went the the site itself to update my driver, Its an old ATI rage 128 (go ahead, laugh at me! )

I'm very new to emulators and need some help getting this thing to start.

You haven't read the whole Faq, try again.

Also, I had an Ati Rage Pro, and it's not a video card issue.

# Q: Why do I get a black (or corrupted) box when I start up ZSNESw?
# A: Try pressing Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen. Also make sure that you have the latest video card drivers and the latest version of DirectX installed. If that didn't help, check your desktop color settings and make sure that the number of colors is set to either 16-bit or 32-bit (since ZSNESw will only work with those modes).
