major bug

Post by scorpio »

my freind and i both downloaded the newest version of zsnes. we play fighting games mostly (mortal kombat, tmnt tournament fighters, etc) and every time a major "bug" happens.

on my screen i beat him.on his screen, he beat me. both of us get a "press start to continue" screen and end up fighting the computer.

what could be cause this? at first i thought it was because he was on dsl and i wasnt..but he played agins one of our friends, who has dsl, and it did the same thing.

it has done this on every mortal kombat game, street fighter 2 turbo hf, tmnt tf, loony toons bball, and a few others.

I don't know for sure, but Netplay has been going through a lot of changes with some of the later versions. You might try downloading ZSNES 1.36 on all computers and see if that helps.

Udder den dat, I don't know what to tell you.

Make sure you have the EXACT same copy of the ROM. Use NSRT (see signature) for verifcation.

This thread might be more appropriate in the Netplay section as well.

The ROM apparently went out of sync. I play Gundam Wing: Endless Duel with a friend of mine, and he's reported that, more than once, I've delivered such an almighty ass kicking that it's apparently moved on to Trial Mode, where on HIS end, I'm usually not winning - though on MY end, I'm playing against an unmoving Gundam.

(No, it doesn't move you to trial mode if you win flawlessly any number of times)

To fix that, we just reload the ROM.
kthxbie!

Make sure that your machines are spyware free or something that's using to much internet bandwidth.
