Windows Mouse Pointer do not disappear

Post by Goldeneye »

On Win2K and all Win-Versions of ZSnes the windows mouse pointer is still visible on the screen if i start ZSnes directly in Fullscreen mode. The Pointer don't go away anymore - not very funny. Now i have to start first in window mode and then i can go to fullscreen. This way it goes.

Try alt-tabbing to another program, then back to ZSNES.

I have that problem sometimes, but never when I start in fullscreen. :?

I know now the problem: It only happens if i start the exe in a explorer window on the right side of the screen. If i start it with a shortcut on the taskmenu the pointer don't appears. But I'm sure he is still there - somewhere. But not in the draw area.

Yes, ZSNES only hides the pointer on its window, not globally via ShowCursor. Which is good for windowed mode, but for fullscreen a call to the API function might be in order...

EDIT: At least that's the impression I got.

I used to have this problem in windows 98 on my old computer. Not with just zsnes but with ALL fullscreen apps. The windows cursor would show up in the middle of the sdcreen. I believe it was my TNT2's fault, though. Or the drivers.
