me and my roommate share the same internet connection. how can we play eachother in different rooms?

your router has a single IP which you both use, however your two network cards do not have the same IP. Find out what your personal IP is and play.
May 9 2007 - NSRT 3.4, now with lots of hashing and even more accurate information! Go download it.

ZSNES will give you that IP address in the netplay dialog box. Have the faster computer act as the server, give the client the IP from that computer to connect to.
