Netplay problems and i can't fix it

Post by colatino »

**EDITED**

Hi, for a few days i've been trying to netplay a friend but he can't conect to me. I use wireless connection, my modem specs are: Ovislink airlink wl1120ap, and i've tried a lot of solutions... but it don't work yet.

I tried the "port forwarding" but i can't access my router. I tried the gateway ip in the IE but it did nothing and tried a lot of other ip's i've found on google about this modem.

Well, i'd be very pleased if any of you guys who have wireless or know how to do its netplay thing work... help me please :D

I have other question. My friend who i try to netplay with, is using a shared internet conection, he can't access the router.. so... there is anyway to help him conect to zsnes?

Bye

There isn't much we can do if you can't configure your routers, you are using wireless, so I'm quite sure you are using a router, most wireless modems are also routers. Please give us the name of your wireless modem.

For your friend, I would suggest him to try to access his router and forward the ports, it's easier that way.

I'd say its time to pull out the manual for your router/AP and look up how get into the configuration and how to forward ports.
