Hello,
Please could you add this very important and useful feature ?
When you press on "F5" for exemple, Zsnes record a snapshot
of the game in progress an store it in the snapshot folder.
A good file format could be .png.
If you press once on F5, a file [rom name].png is stored and each
time you press again on F5 during the same game a file
[rom name]_nnnn.png is added in the folder.
Best regards.
Please add important feature : screen capture ...

I'm gonna be real nice, because I took a break and it's been a long time I didn't answer to users like you:
This feature already exists. All details concerning it can be found in the documentation coming with the emulator, but i'm gonna be extra real nice and put it here.
The many ways to take a screenshot:
1- Load your game, press F1 while playing. Choose your file format, BMP or PNG, then take the screenshot using the 'save snapshot' option. This produces a native resolution (256*224) picture, whatever options are used.
2- go to MISC -> GAME KEYS and set a key to the snapshot feature. Press F1 while playing to set the file extension and press the preset button whenever you want to save a pic. Native res.
3- to get non-native res (to get filtered pic, for example), use the print screen button on your keyboard, then paste the clipboard in Paint or something like that.
Currently the pic is saved in your save directory. Config -> Paths allows you to enter a different directory for your pictures, but i don't know if that works because i don't use this option.
The file format is romnameXXXX.ext, where romname is the rom's name, XXXX a number between 0000 and 9999, and ext is the file extension you chose before.
</nice>

I guess it would be nice, but I'm not in the mood of ripping my hair out over it.
