Smartjoy trouble...

Hi,

I just downloaded a fresh copy of zsnes and am having a little trouble getting it working with my PS2 controller connected through a Smartjoy adapter. When I click the Set Keys button in the config for Input #1 the program doesn't register anything I press on the pad. The adapter responds properly in Windows (using XP Pro SP2) and in SNES9X, and the controller works just fine on a Playstation. I do have a Saitek keyboard - I followed the instructions for disabling the extra HID-compliant gaming device in the device manager and rebooted the computer but that didn't help any. I also trashed the config file and tried it again but that didn't help.

Any suggestions on what to try next? Thanks!

before you tried setting the keys did you select the key/joypad option then click set?

if not do that cuz its what ya gotta do

Smartjoys tend to have problems with ZSNES for some reason.
