No, it's always been known that hachís is obtained from the marihuana plant. Always as in, post - 1960.

Hachis sounds entirely too much like hashish for me to believe it has anything to do with cocaine.

I've fallen in love with this game. Just like a book, it kept me guessing and analysing all the characters until the very end. A few questions though; I assume that "Girl in Back" isn't a continually repeated typo of "Girl in Black". Is it a literal translation or is it the closest one could get to whatever it really is, like "Girl From Behind" or "Girl That Takes a Bus From the Land of Wind and Ghosts From Time to Time to Sneak Up on People, Making Them Pee Their Pants" considering space limitations in the game?

Secondly, will any future update see longer letter lengths for the character name? Ten spaces split between a first and last names really taxes the name generating sector of my imagination.

Lastly, what other games are there in this "interactive novel" genre, English or otherwise? I'm definitely interested in seeing more of these.

So, that said, thank you Demiforce, Tomato, and all the others that put their time into Famicom Detective Club Pt. 2! The game was a blast!

I'll probably be playing this over Christmas break. Unlikely to get a chance to do so beforehand :(

About the "girl in back" thing: that's a literal translation, unfortunately it sounds pretty dumb in English :/ But I/we/he had a hard time thinking up something cool so just left it as is. Any replacement name would've been completely made up and would probably have sounded equally as bad, like "The Bloody Schoolgirl" or "Dead Debbie" or whatever :P

Dunno about name lengths. I wouldn't count on it being changed though.
