Re: ITT: Birthdays, Hellos, Goodbyes, EXTENDED Absences.
I'm only posting here because I saw those ridiculous SMW hacks mentioned. One of the coolest(and most ridiculous at the same time) is that "Brutal Mario" hack or whatever the fuck it's called in Japanese. The level designs are impossibly hard but it's the boss fights that make it really cool. Of course I want nothing to do with it myself, so I looked the hack up on youtube. The sheer number and diversity of bosses is incredible. They put everything from the Mammon Machine/Majinki from CT to Ultima from FF Tactics in that hack.
I bet that shit took YEARS because some of the bosses ripped from other games are surprisingly well-animated. I watched a video of this custom DBZ-esque Luigi boss fight and his animation really blew me away, but I'm pretty sure it was from a different hack. I hate the difficulty of those hacks but man, some of them are incredibly impressive.

Wow, this place still exists... As do all of you. I'm not so sure I do anymore.

Yep ZSNES Forums still goin'. And I don't mean the final fantasy 6 mummy kind from the ghost train. One blitz move and Still' Goin... is gone gone gone. Anyways I've been away for a long time and thought I'd pop up to see if anyone has missed me... joking (I know no one has missed me.). But besides that point, good to be back.

Still checking the forum once in a while. A lot less activity than I thought.
May everyone be in favorable conditions.

Well, blarg, I'm Termingamer, a special model from Cyberdyne, that is mainly designed to play video games.
I also run a website which a few people visit (and like) which is a board, but I want to be around the ZSNES community before putting the link in my signature.
My computer has the entire collection of SNES roms for some reason, but do not ask me why... I like snes gaming. It's the first console I played, which explains everything.
I got my username: Terminator 2: Judgment Day + gamer + my initials. A few people asked me where I got the name from, somehow they had no clue.
Anyway, blarg, hopefully I enjoy the zsnes community, like the emulator itself.

Wow I come back 2 years later and we're still on the same page and I'm just a few posts up. It's cool to see some of the people in the community still around. Hopefully people are well. Anyhow, I see that ZSNES is in stasis, which is completely understandable. Its amazing, I remember using it as a dos executable that didnt have transparency support yet or sound. It was my first taste of the Japanese Final Fantasy games, and I was running them on a 486 at 100 Mhz. I think I was 17 or 18 years old then. Its been fun to follow the community over the years. One day I hope to see a resurgence.

Hello. New guy on the block orsomecraplikethatamIright? Eh heh heh heh heh heh. Eh. Eeeeehhh. If you are around the starmen.net forums, mainly in the PKHack section, you might recognize me. I made Radiation's EarthBound Halloween Hack Redone. Just look it up. Anyways, happy to be here, even if this forum is a ghost town of a place. I will probably be more active than I ever really need to be here (for the first bit of time I am here, at least).

I'm back by the looks of things - haven't kept up with this site since June.
Miss the days I was here all the time but they are going to change, in fact it's been around a year since I joined.

Ended up browsing my IRC logs from decades ago (??!?) and was feeling nostalgic even though my leaving here was less than clean. Hi all, hope everyone is doing well.neoblaze wrote:What's up, boners?

Yeah, it was kind of a shithole for a long time. We had some pretty terrible regular fixtures, and they affected the overall tone of the board greatly.Johan_H wrote:this forum was a lot worse of a place than it felt like at the time
