Harder than the orignial LoZ for SNES. You practically have to abuse coding in the original game to get past some parts (eg: the armos knights mini-boss, you have to keep striking the one still bouncing before they formate in the circle or else you'll face dire consequences. not to mention mothula is a bitch with four hearts.)
Also if you want to save in-game, good luck. Unless they made a new version, in-game saves don't work. You'll have to settle for save states.

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

I found this hack to be pretty poor in the gameplay department. It's ridiculously difficult as well. I quit after beating the first level with savestates. It's not fun in the least bit.

Aside from the Armos Knights that take a billion years to beat without the boomerang, Nayru's holes* and Impa's Paths*, the game is fairly easy for A LttP veteran. (*evil mazes)
I believe there was a rediculously hard part in Sheiks Hideout that I skipped with cheats, but aside from that it was pretty easy once you knew what your meant to do and where to go.

It's just a bug from the original game. Saving doesn't work until you get the sword and shield. In the original it didn't matter because you got them like 2 minutes into the game and (unless you abuse an obscure glitch) you can't kill yourself if you wanted to.adventure_of_link wrote:Really, I could've swore in game saving was broke totally.. I haven't tried it, but an FAQ for the GBA version is on gamefaqs.franpa wrote:elaborate on the glitch and it's side effects please
Supposedly, if Zelda's message comes up while you talk to the soldiers, it's possible to move a pixel farther than normal. And with patience, you could move past the soldiers. This would allow you to play a swordless game, but the side effect I see is that you'd probably have to use savestates, unless you can beat the entire game in one sitting and without dying.
