Having trouble with saving SPCs

I can't get it to record right, it just stays on the same note.

With Some games, using SPCs is not possible, and you will get what you are describing.

yes, try another game first to see if it's just the rom. Zelda and SMW should work

Just tested it with other games, it works. Is there any way I could record music from Madou?

Get any spc sets you need off http://www.snesmusic.org/
Btw their site supposedly doesn't support IE so use Firefox.

A Madou Monogatari set is not available from snesmusic, so it is possible that it may be unrippable with the current SPC format. Further investigation is needed on this one.

This doesn't mean you can rip the music using an external utility...

1. goto http://www.download.com and search for All2Wav Recorder (or catch me on AIM and I'll send you a copy)
2. Install All2Wav Recorder and read the docs.
3. Let All2Wav recorder sit in the background and record sounds from your ZSnes.
4. When you're satisifed, stop the recording and save it.
5. ???
6. Profit!!
